Hey [reporter] — saw your piece on dev tooling consolidation. We just hit 10k paying engineering teams, with [Named Customer] writing publicly about a 40% faster ship cycle on our platform.

Got 10 min Thursday for the numbers and the roadmap?

The plays

  1. Subject line as headline. It's a story, not a topic. Reporter can almost write the lede from it.
  2. The reference to recent work. Proves it's not a blast. Three seconds of homework beats three pages of flattery.
  3. The specific number + named customer. "10k paying teams" + named source = checkable. Reporters can verify in 30 seconds.
  4. The ask in time, not in scope. "10 min Thursday" not "would love to set up a call." Specific friction wins.
